Hi,
I have found the following error in the system's event
log of my windows 2000 advance server. Does anybody know
why this error is generated. As a result of this my system
gets hanged.

Thanks

Thanks

Try to locate program behind that class id. Open regedit and
search that {73A4C9C1-D68D-11D0-98BF-00A0C90DC8D9} under
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOL\CLSID. If you find it, look "InProcServer32".
There is path to that dcom server module. You can then look
properties of that file. Of course, that won't explain why that
dcom server is failing. But maybe that helps a bit.

AFAICT this is related to MS ACCESS. Possibly a Repair of
Office/Access may help.

You could also run DCOMCNFG.EXE and check the "Microsoft Access
Application" properties. Although I do not know what would be
"normal" for those settings. An MS ACCESS Group may have more
information.
