Please someone help me, possibly with a step by step guide.
I have Vista as the host and an XP professional as the client. On the XP it
says that it can see the Vista computer, and the network seems to work fine,
however I cannot access the internet through the XP computer.

I've done all the things like enabling ICS on the modem/router connection,
and the only thing that I can see wrong is that when I hit "diagnose" on the
"Local area connection 2" (which is the the connection to the XP computer) it
says that it has an invalid IP configuration....

Posting the results of both computers' ipconfig /all here may help.
