You're using a lot of DIV tags with absolute positioning (and other styles).
Those will look different on different resolutions. I don't see anything on
the site that make using layers an advantage. Unless there's a real reason
you need them then you're better off using tables and cells (set to fixed
number of pixels wide) to lock your content into place in all resolutions

Don't feel ashamed, this is actually a really good looking site. We see all
types of sites here and never laugh.

First thing I can see, you're using the Accord font family. Don't use it.
It's not a standard font so most people won't have it installed on their
computer and thus it will revert to Times New Roman.

I looked at the site in Opera and compared it to IE. One of the things I
noticed was the links on the navigation are underlined in Opera. This
usually happens because of the precedence used by certain tags. In other
words, when you have an <a> tag, then you put a <font> tag, the <font> will
take precedence over the <a>. You may need to re-arrange these manually as
they should be condensed down a bit. For example, let's look at the Must
Read navigation item

<font face="Accord SF" size="2">
<a href="must-read-ariozna-free-real-estate-forms.htm">
<span style="text-decoration: none"><font color="#000000">Must read:
</font></span><b><span style="text-decoration: none">
<font color="#000000">Home Appeal</font></span></b></a></font>

There are two font tags in there which affect how things work. That could be
part of the problem. Also, the style used in the span can be combined into
the anchor tag. Try the following instead:

<font face="Accord SF" size="2" color="#000000">
<a href="must-read-ariozna-free-real-estate-forms.htm"
style="text-decoration: none"><>
Must read: <b>Home Appeal</b></a></font>

Keep in mind, you'll want to drop the Accord SF font and use something
different.

As for the absolute positioning, I avoid layers like the plague for a lot of
these reasons so I'll leave it to someone more knowledgeable about them
address any issues with the CSS positioning.

....also, do not use the space bar for trying to layout a page.

|I think that you can do a better job by tearing down and rebulilding

| This is another kind of advice. If you are planning on using this site

| I counted a half dozen mistakes in just two pages. Simple ones that

Everything on that site is a rough draft, it has been inputed by voice, not
by typing.

Thank you for the advice, but I was not looking to go online ask a question
and get into a Pis**ng match with you. So please in the future do not worry
anyones education level. I promise that my education is just fine!

John,

I live in a communty of age 55+. Almost all have degrees, many advanced
degrees. 90% can't write a simple sentence. The old-timers are
hyper-critical of our current dumbed down education system, but it's the old
saying that the pot is calling the kettle black. Our Award Winning monthly
magazine is full of errors ach month. For an exposure, click on Current
Spirit Magazine in the Menu Bar: http://www.sca-hoa.org/outside_frame.asp

Ah well, "When you're on a good thing, stick to it" (which is actually from
an ad for a fly spray here in Australia)

In the spirit of "Do as I do, not do as I say", should "full of errors ach
month" perhaps be "full of errors each month"

:-))
