Hi Dan,
If you just deleted the icon, then no data should have been lost. Are you
sure you don't just have a different view enabled inside Outlook? It could
be possible that perhaps Outlook is pointing to the wrong .pst file, so you
may want to check that out as well. You should use the Windows Search
feature to see if there are other .pst files that may contain your e-mail
and contacts - here's how:
1. Click on Start, Search
2. Type " *.pst " in the text box without the quotation marks.
3. Click on the Search button to begin the search.
4. Make note of the location, size, and date dodified values to determine
which .pst file may contain your data. Usually the largest and most recent
modified file is the one you need.
5. Go back into Outlook and click on File, Open, Data File, then browse to
the path of the .pst file you want to open.
6. Outlook will list another Personal Folders tree that contains its own
set of subfolders that may contain your data.

| ive accidentally deleted outlook from the desktop by right
