Would you change anything? And why? :)

a) I'll buy 9600 pro because it's impossible to find new 9500 pro
b) should I insist on 8 MB cache on HDD or 2 MB will do?

Wait for the 9600XT. It should be out very soon. Awesome cad for $199.
Not too impressed with the Volcano or Enermax. Try Antec PS.

Out of all of it, If I were buying a new harddrive I'd want it ATA133 with a
8Mb cache, but thats being picky! ;-)

It all sounds very good. I agree with Chris that a ATA 133, 8MB cache disk
drive would be preferable, if possible, but the drive you've selected is
fine.
 
I got nothing against the TT Volcano 7+ but l'm leaning towards the
Coolermaster Aero 7 Lite when it comes out here in Australia. Hopefully
soon. The Aero is about Aud$10 dearer but l think it's worth it.

P.s Yes, try and go Sata if you can. I was tosing up b/w an ATA100 with 8mb
cache or an ATA133 with 2 mb cache. In the end l went with ATA133 with 2 mb
cache. It was cheaper.
 
Thow out the Volcano 7 and get a Speeze Falcon Rock. It works great if it
will fit on the motherboard. Makes a lot less noise with a 8cm Fan.

ATA133 (or SATA) won't make any difference over ATA100 (or even ATA66).
Also, last time I looked, the WD SE drives slightly outperformed the 8mb
Seagate drives (but both 8mb drives beat the 2mb drives), but were a bit
noisier so which one you choose is up to you.

Ignore the interface... whats the difference? The cache... so yeah, it
would be cheaper, 'cos it's probably slower.

Hi,

it all looks good. I'm never used the Volcano 7+ but I do use the
CoolerMaster Aero 7 LITE, very nice HSF at a great price (£12.00 U.K). Also
the hard-drive you picked is not bad, but I myself use a SATA drive(s) made
my Western-Digital (120GB WD-SE). The price difference between P/ATA and
SATA disks is now very small so why not opt for a SATA version, it's handy
if you use allot of regular IDE ATAPI devices (CD-Burners, etc). Also
getting an 8MB version will only make the drive work better.

This the is the drive I use on my NF7-S (v2.0)

Actually I use two of these drives in RAID-0, but even if you used one it
would work great. . .
