( I'm quite disappointed with my present Asus
P4S533-E as it does not have any USB driver
support for Win '98-se )

If you're using it at the mo it also seems to have some system time
issues...check your clock

Malaysian server, Malaysian time zone, Malaysian ISP. That would likely
make his clock blatantly wrong, perhaps he just can't tell the time.

Go here and enter the model number:

For example, if you check P4PE, there is a driver file
owich4usb2v1_03.zip , which is OrangeWare/Intel USB 2.0 .
You will need that kind of a driver for Win98SE, and the
Orangeware driver is not available for all motherboards.
This particular driver is for ICH4 Southbridge chips.

I see the P4P800S has ICH5usb2_98me.zip as a driver file,
and that implies that all the 875/865 boards will use a
similar driver.

The driver needed is a function of the Southbridge chip on
each motherboard, and the 875/865 use the ICH5(R). The
same USB2 driver should work for all the motherboards using
that Southbridge chip.

The top half of the list is dual channel, the P4T boards use
RDRAM, the lower half of the list is single channel boards.
For the most part, the boards at the top of the list are
newer than the ones at the bottom.

It is best to review the specs by clicking the links on
the mbindex.htm page for each board, so you know what you
are getting. Also, download and read the manual before buying,
as the contents of the manual will tell you how fully
featured the BIOS is - the cheaper boards generally have
fewer tweaking and tuning settings, like adjustment for
Vdimm, Vagp, Vcore etc.
