Please advise a good Windows Installer book in addition to "VB/VBA Developer's Guide to the Windows

I've found the following two books at the InstallShield shop:
"Practical Installer Solutions for Building InstallShield Setup
Applications" and "Learning Windows Installer (MSI) Technology".

Had anybody read these books? Is "Learning Windows Installer (MSI)
Technology" valuable? I've found this book pricey.

Thank you in advance.

I think the latter is a training manual, not a regular book. (I haven't read
it)
The Practical Windows Installer Solutions looks like a useful book (although
I only thumbed through it yet)

You can find a complete list of Windows Installer books at

Thank you. Do you mean that this book is only meaningful if you intend
to pass exams at a course arranged by InstallShield?

There is a quite negative review on it at

Thank you, I'm aware with this list, and keep maintaining the good
site!

No, it can be used for self-study (BTW there are no such exams). But it
explains the price (they want you to go to the course, not read the manual,
also it's printed in a relatively low number of copies)

I haven't seen the perfect Windows Installer book yet (there's a new one
coming in May, written by MVP Phil Wilson, but it's not yet available - I'm
going to post additional information on InstallSite soon). That said, at
least the topics covered by Baker's book seem useful. Regarding that review:
it's just a single opinion, and at least with his comment about that
sentence on page 442 he is wrong in my understanding (that paragraph
introduces the goals to be achieved by the steps in the chapter: setting
permissions on a folder, a file and a registry entry.)
