Can a powerpoint presentation be saved to a CD or DVD to play on a DVD player.

If you want to make a data DVD, in PowerPoint 2007 clickcan save it to DVD!
And if you want to make a playable DVD, you should use some program to
convert your presentation to video format. You can save your
presentation to jpg format and then use Windows Movie Maker to make a
movie and then burn it to DVD.
But if your Presentation has many sounds, animations and video clips,
you'd better use some professional tools like PPT2DVD, PPT to Video
and so on.
Here you can find the program PPT2DVD: http://www.ppt-to-dvd.com/ppt2dvd/overview.html
you can also use some screenrecord program to record your
presentation.

Office PowerPoint 2007 does not support the direct burning of content to any
DVD formats. As an alternative, you can copy your presentation to a folder,
and then use DVD-burning software to import the content and create a DVD.

The DVD-burning software, you can try Moyea PPT to DVD Burner Pro.This burner
allows you to add background music to the powerpoint and create a DVD menu
with which you can control play back on the DVD player or TV of the DVD.I
have used it for one year and find it's pretty straight forward.
