playlists problem

I have folders of various artists playlists which I can't get to behave.
When I select one of folders all of the songs appear, I highlight them and
select play, or open, or open with, but instead of proceeding a window pops
up which asks me where I want to move these files. I select cancel or 'x'
out but the window continues to reappear twice for each of the songs in the
folder. I've had an extensive look for the default but just can't get a
handle on it. I use VLC and WMP9.

Can you play individual files? If not, what error message do you get? You
may not have the necessary codecs installed.

Hi John,

Did you recently apply a tweak that adds "Copy To" and "Move To" to the context menu of a file system object? If so, undo that tweak. See:
