Hello and thanks in advance. I have a tough one that I cant seem to find the
answer to; I'd like to know is there a way to play a wav file (let's say
c:\sound\file.wav) at the command prompt??

Example:

Open a Command Prompt and type:

C:\Windows\Media\Notify.wav

Replace Notify.wav with your desired .wav file.

This does work however, it opens (and keeps open) Media Player - is there a
way to do it under the hood or have media player close after it's played?
Thanks in advance.
