CDs burned using Movie Maker 2 have HighMAT menu structures with WMV movie
files. Today's HighMAT DVD players can play audio and still image files, but
not WMV video. New players that handle WMV will be out soon. See the CD
Burning > HighMAT and other pages of my website.
You need to use other software to create a DVD that plays today. See the DVD
section of the site.

i have made a movie from footage captured from my mini dv
camcorder but cannot play cd on my home dvd player help
.
Am having same problem. WIN MM uses HIMAT format.
You've gotta have a CD/DVD player that indicates it can
play HIMAT. Should say on the box. I have tried 4
different home players with no luck. Seems like Microsoft
could provide a product that is more useable! I am very
disgusted with this, as I have invested over $7,000 to
make underwater video movies & now cannot. Bummer.
