I use My DVD by Sonic. You can save your movie as an
DVD. Works well.

Hi Al,
There are two methods
1) Make a VCD using third party software (You need a CD writer and its only
any good if your DVD machine can handle it)
2) Make a DVD using third party software (You need a DVD Writer)
The noticeably better quality comes from making a DVD. If you do not own a
DVD-Writer and intend to buy one you must make sure that you are buying the
correct type for your home DVD player. There are two standards, You will
notice that some burners can create DVD-R and some can create DVD+R, there
is now a third type of burner that will create either + or -. Whichever you
choose make sure that it is compatible with your home DVD machine.
Usually most DVD writers come with software...be warned that the free give
away DVD playing software will very likely mess up Movie Maker. Not to worry
though I have written a program that deals with that issue called "Rename
Codecs" its available from my site.
Often the DVD burner will also come with some DVD authoring software. Use
that first and if you like the results stay with it. If not be careful what
authoring software you buy...it is very much, "You get what you pay for"
