Playing Media in Web

I'd like my MP3's and videos to play either in an embedded media player or as
a sidebar windows media player panel - instead of opening up a separate page
or loading the whole WMP application.

What's the best way to do this??

Or is how the media plays out dependant on how the end user has their
associations set up??

There's a windows media player add-in for FP that can embed windows media
player into the browser. It's available in the add-in center at:
