playing media files elsewhere

Why am I not able to send video files to other locations
via internet to be viewed even when second party has MMM?
Also, I cannot view file in anything but MMM. Why is that?
 
You have to save your work as a movie file, not a Movie Maker project... and
the others will view it using the Windows Media Player, not Movie Maker.
