Playing games without CD

So one told me that you can play games like call of duty or tomb raider
without having to use the disk. That you can install the game on your
computer and not have to keep loading the disk, is this true? and if so how
do you do it.

Well, I've done this by copying the CD onto the HD and installing it from
there. I don't know if it'll work with the games you mention (though I don't
see why not), but it's worked with everything I've tried it on.

Just drag and drop the contents of the CD into a new folder, or use "copy
and paste". Just like you'd copy any other files.

Hi Tony,
I too have downloaded/copied a games CD from disk to my hd and it has worked
for me too.
