playing DVDs

I have a DVD,CD,ROM drive on my comp and Windows XP, but
i cant seem to get the DVDs to play? Keep getting window
that tells me i need to instal the decoder for DVDs that
is some were in my system??? I build custom cars and
street rods. But i am prity much computer stupid,lost,in
aw,take your pick. If anyone could help me with this i
would be very grateful. Thank you.

You'll need a DVD decoded you actual have to buy the
plugins, if you have a PowerDVD Cd bundled with your CD
drive then load that, it'll load Media player plugin for
you, if you don't have one you'll have to shell out for
it about $9.95US is the cheapest. Links available from
the Mediua Player home page at Microsoft... wonderfull
isn't it.
