Playing/CTRL double-click problem.

I'm playing a game I got with my Gateway-created system, and this
plane-shooter game requires me to hit CTRL repeatedly to fire blasts. But,
every time I hit CTRL, a window of Internet Explorer pops up, causing
eventually impossible memory problems. I didn't notice what was going on, and
then I had 44 Internet Explorer windows open up. The usual way of deleting a
keyboard shortcut doesn't work. How do I get rid of this one? I got this
computer today, so I guess the shortcut was pre-built in to Vista.

Gabek,
I don't have a gateway system so I can't be sure but it could be a custom
app for the gateway keyboard. They usually have one so the little extra
buttons will work right. Check your control panel and any "gateway"
menus/folders for a keyboard utility. Check your services (use the
administrative tools menu) and look for anything relating to the keyboard.
Just be sure to back up the system before doing anything drastic!

Hope that helps!
Mark
