Gurus,

I have a .mpg movie clip which plays a little faster than I would like. I
want to slow it down some, or at least do some frame by frame control. How
can I do this?

Have you tried the "Slow Down, Half" Video Effect?

FWIW...Movie Maker has issues with most MPEG files.

John, where do I find the "Slow Down, Half" Video Effect?
============================
Two ways...

1) Tools / Video Effects / scroll down to...
Slow Down, Half...drag the effect and drop it
on your clip in the timeline.

2) Right click the clip on the timeline...
from the menu...choose...Video Effects...
scroll down and select...Slow Down, Half...
left click the Add button / OK

TIP...you can add up to 6 instances of an effect.
