Play video through Yahoo webcam

Looking for something to play avi through the yahoo messenger webcam
facility. So appears as webcam to those viewing but actually is a video. So
someone can talk as me and show a video of me and I really be elsewhere.

Interesting idea!

I do have Yahoo messenger and the next time I use it I'm going to have to see
if this can be done.

Baring hardware, the only thing I know about is SoftCam, but it's trialware.
I've never seen any virtual video device freeware. It works beautifully for
what the OP was talking about, as well as other things. It's just a matter
of spending the $50 for it, or not.
