Play Video in Window

I'm creating a presentation in which I have a slide with information
about a person in the typical PowerPoint format, but I would like to
add a video clip to the slide that will play as the presenter
introduces the person.
Unfortunately, when the slide opens up, the video is presented full
screen through the projector while remaining in the appropriate format
on my computer screen.
How can I get the video clip to play through the project and on my
screen in ONLY the pre-sized video box I inserted on the slide?
The final version of this presentation will be played on a government
use computer (i.e. I won't have access to changing computer settings).
Therefore, I'm hoping I can solve the issue via the actual slideshow.

Thanks in advance for any and all advice!

In PowerPoint there is an option to 'play fullscreen' if you right click the
video and go to edit. But this is not turned on by default. Most likely it
is a setting on your graphic card that is trying to be overly helpful.

Go to START >> CONTROL PANEL >> DISPLAY >> SETTINGS tab >> ADVANCED button
If you need additional information, reply back with the manufacturer and
model of the graphics card.

While connected to the external display...

NVIDIA - look for Full Screen Video in the advanced settings. Under Full
Screen Device this option should be set to disabled.

ATI - look for Theater Mode in the advanced settings. Depending on the
driver this option should be set to Standard and may also be under Overlay
Theater Mode.
