Play music through Sonic

Having purchased music downloaded through MSN i attempted to burn direct from
WMP to my portable which is a Sony MD but WMP does not recognise the MD. I
then attempted to copy the downloads to Sony's Sonic software so as to burn
but Sonic could not play the tracks due to not being able to find the
licence, surely there's a way around this. I would be grateful for any
suggestions.

Sony has not created MD drivers for WMP to access the device (and is not
likely to do so), so you can't directly transfer music, or transfer
protected music.

The only way around it is to burn audio CDs from the protected files and
transfer those to your MD directly or by re-ripping the (now
unprotected) tracks.
