Play Control WAV Volume at Max

Every time I boot or re-boot my computer the volume level
for WAV, MIDI, TAD-In (and a few others) is set to MAX. I
always have to adjust them down but those settings don't
get saved when I shut down. I have found no help in the
knowledge base. Any ideas?

Only suggestion I can give is run anti-virus program,and
check for update drivers for audio.
also check what ever media player you are using for
settings....Good luck.
