Play.com Delivery

I've not used play.com for a long time, but I've ordered a present online this weekend.

In the order details section it still says "processing" 48 hours later - does this normally happen? I've tried ringing to find out, but not surprisingly the lines are chocabloc. I'm only concerned as I wanted it to arrive before Christmas!

Fingers crossed for a speedy delivery :D
 
I found recently that it still said "processing" when i got delivery of it!
But, at this time of year it may take longer?
 
I've had quite a lot of stuff from Play Com, only had one late delivery, it took about two weeks when estimate was five days.

I also had one parcel go missing once. I had to wait three weeks to make sure it didn't show then they reimbursed my credit card.

Other than that, they've been fine.

Their policy is usually upto 5 days but they do arrive earlier most of the time.

Had a mail off them today explaining I think it was today or tomorrow is the last day for guarenteed parcels dlevered for christmas
 
Play are usually ok, dont think they would take your money whilst waiting for stock, not like H*V , ordered 3 games on the 7th Dec emailed me on the 12th saying sorry for the delay ..they are in the post and now on the 17th and still not come !!!
 
The 20th is the last day for guaranteed delivery by royal mail first class
 
I've just had an e-mail from them saying part of it has been dispatched :thumb:

They do that at this time of year as the elves can't carry big parcels .
