I got the movie saved as a vcd, and i have been watching it on my computer
that i saved it on. It plays fine on a dvd player. But i went to work to show
the co-workers and i cant get it to play on my windows media player. why? do
i need to change settings or something on it? Work computer is running
windows ME. also, i already deleted the movie off my computer, is there a
way to upload it back from the vcd so i can put it on the web. I forgot to do
that the first time. :0(

If you made the VCD from within Movie Maker then most probably you made a
Highmat format VCD. Is this the case? If so then you need to download and
install the highmat player on the office PC to play the video

i saved it as avi. is that what you are asking?

You saved it as AVI but if you truly created a VCD then the file is no
longer AVI so what they are asking is what program did you use to create the
VCD.
I'll add another question. Since the office PC is WindowsME then what
version of Media Player is running on it?
