Platform selection .NET 1.1 and .NET 1.0

Hi,

Is it possible to configure the VisualStudio.NET 2003 to compile using the
..NET Framework 1.0 compiler (instead of the .NET Framework 1.1 compiler).
Might it be possible by creating a second "Platform" for the configuration
manager? If yes, how can I do this?

No, VS.NET 2002 will always compile and required .NET 1.0 Framework, VS.NET
2003 will always compile and required .NET 1.1, unless MS releases a
SP/Hotfix in the future to allow interchangeability.

that is incorrect. see this link http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/d...de/html/cpconTargetingNETFrameworkVersion.asp. for asp.net see this article http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;820106. there are also options in vs.net options. in short, the two frameworks work w/ each other just fine, ms would be crazy if they didn't implement this functionality.
