Has anyone printed plastic cards (like loyalty cards) with a photo of
the customer on it? Each card has a different picture on it but has
other graphic parts the same.

I have seen two manufacturers: Fargo and Zebra. I cannot find the unit
cost per card. Some peope have asked for high volume, iin-house
printers but there is little information out there.

What printer did you use and what was the cost per card?

If I needed to print up to 5000 photo cards per week what is the most
efficient, cost-effective way?

Thanks,
NK

If you don't get what you want here, take a ride down to the local office of
the DMV and see what they use for drivers licenses. That may work for you.

A quick search brought up http://www.ribbonsdirect.co.uk which might
give a first order indication of costs.
