Placing objects in Front Page Edit mode

I place an object where I want it to be on the web page and save it, but it
is any place it feels like going after I save it and view the page. I can't
even re-size text boxes in Front Page. What am I doing wrong? A photo and
paragraph on the bottom right of the page in edit, ends up in the top left
bannerhead of the webpage!

For basic layout use tables (rows & columns) to position various objects.

For advanced layout, use CSS, layers, absolute positioning ( you should read
up on these, how they work and problems involved)

What's the URL so we can see what's happening? Are you using any CSS
positioning or layers on the page?

Thanks, I'll try that. I'm used to Publisher and am thinking that I might be
better off re-doing everything in publisher and just editing the page in
FrontPage since I can't get it to link any other way.

Just found out about CSS, so the answer is no. I deleted the page and
re-built it in Publisher. Then I found out that the only way to get it to
link was to edit and save it in FrontPage or the link wouldn't take. I
REALLY don't like using FrontPage!

Sorry I haven't followed the entire thread so I may have missed something,
but.....

Publisher is not a program for creating Web pages.
FrontPage is.

I would suggest that if you want to build a page for the web, then build it
in FrontPage (or just write the HTML/CSS yourself, but that's another story)

If you are going to use Publisher, then select the Publisher web templates, and when you have issue
post to the Publisher newsgroup.

If you want create a web site that is easy to manage, then use FP and not Publisher.
