place little icones

hello people

In Windows ME (& maybe win98) there was a display option than in winXP is
lost this option
i think the name was = small icones...

and it was great because we can place icone where when whant and it take
litlle space

now it still available but only with BIG icones :-( (~32px)

voici un screen de ce que je voudrais faire (et de ce que ont savais faire)
this is a screen that i whant to do (and what in win* it possible)

or did you now a 3rd party software where we can place icone where we whant


in windows longhorn whats the display option ?

Hi James,

For the Toolbars: Right click/Customize/Icon Options/Small Icons
For Quick Launch: Unlock/View/Small Icons
For the Start Menu: Right click the Start
button/Properties/Customze/Advanced/Small Icons

is not the toolbars or quicklaunch or startmenu that i need small icones but
