PivotTable

I am not sure that this is the group this question should be in, but I couldn't find one on pivottables. Sorry if it isn't

I am new to using (trying) pivottables. I finally got one to work. It counts how many times an individual has entered this program. I have a sheet ("Date") that is in date order, which is where the data gets entered

A second sheet ("Alpha") just gets the data entered into the Date sheet, i.e.: ="Data"!A1100. This sheet then gets sorted by the name (and date)

The pivottable info was taken from the second sheet (Alpha). I added 12 names (some were persons reentering the program). I cannot figure out how to "expand" the pivottable to include the "new" names without dropping some of the old names. What it is doing is adding the new names where they are suppose to go (sorted), but dropping the bottom 8 names from the pivottable

Finally found the way to get to the "Source" and was able to change it there to include the total range

You can base the pivot table on a dynamic range, which will
automatically expand to include new items. There are instructions here:
