Pivot tables wont sum or average fields

Hi there

I have this problem with my pivot tables. When I select a few cells the
average and sum feature works fine, however if I expand the selctio to
include too many columns the sum is always '0' and the average "DIV/O". All
relevent feilds are numbers, and at any rate these feature work fine until I
extend the selection??
 
Where are you trying to create the sums and averages? With subtotals in
the pivot table? Or are you using formulas outside the pivot table?
