Pivot table data entry

Is there a way I can use a pivot table view to edit/add
the monthly values headings(in my columns) and the data in
them? In the form it is in a read-only mode and I can't
insert a value.

Below is the layout..
6/30/03 value 9/30/03 value
Last name/account number $123.44 xxx(add value)


I really don't want to transfer it to excel each quarter I
insert the value. Although even when I do, it is in a
read-only mode where I can't insert the value.


ALSO: Is there a way I can open the form and have it
automatically open in the pivot table view?

There is probably a better way, but until you find it, you can
manually create DSUM functions to do this for you.
