PIVOT TABLE - adding column

Hi. I've created a pivot table from a spreadsheet of
data. I need to insert a column into the created pivot
table so I can add some values... but excel will not
allow it. Does anyone know if there's a way around this?

You can't manually insert a column in a PivotTable. You could create a
Calculated Item or Calculated Field, or you could add the values
adjacent to the PivotTable.
