Hi
You might have came across this posting in excel-
worksheet-function newsgroup. Sorry for the confusion as
i posted in the wrong section.
Ok, here's my problem:
I create a pivot chart from a pivot table and select one
of the built-in chart type available. As it cannot meet
my requirement, i further customise the chart look and
feel. Everything is so smoothly done.
After i save the file, i did 'refresh data' on the pivot
table and pivot chart was immediately reverted to the
default chart type. So, i lost the chart which was
customised earlier.
One not-so-good solution which i used is to save the
customised chart as 'user-defined' chart type. Whenever
the pivot table was refreshed, i have to reselect the
chart type. This is very cumbersome.
Is there a more permanent solution so that refreshing of
pivot table will not affect the pivot chart format
(color, font size, etc). Possible?
