I have two problems probably related & this has happened
before. Someone in my household is surfing Adult sites,
some how in those sites we are now experiencing popup ads,
email messages, and a search home page (I-lookup) has
taken over. I have tried to use internet options to put
Google back as my default, but it will not take. There is
also a Favorite with this site loading to my Favorites and
I can't delete. It always comes back when I re-open the
internet explorer. This happened before someone told be
instructions to go someplace using Start - Run - instant
messaging I think ??? and I turned something back on and
it stopped the email and deleted the favorites problem.
Can anyone help me make the appropriate adjustments to get
my functionality back. That is stop the popup's, email
message

Browser hijacker parasite.
http://217.115.153.73/parasite/ and look for ILookup.

The best spyware removal tools are Ad-Aware available from
http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/ or
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/ and SpyBot available from
http://tomcoyote.org/SPYBOT/ and update the reference files
through their Online update function. Run them and select all items and
remove.
You may have to reboot and rerun a couple of times to completely remove it.
Also run the Immunize function to
prevent these nasties from installing again.

Install a good HOSTS file to help stop these nasties from installing.

SpywareBlaster

Update the reference file through the online update function.
