Windows XP Piracy?

who would be stupid enough to even try to sell it before the release ?!

But if he sold it after the release he wouldnt have made £350 he might have made £5-10 but definately not in tripple figures. The seller wanted to mkae quick money so he tried to leak the album for a bit of cash.
 
I received promo vinyl and CD's for years.

Those I didn't like or those I thought I could make a few quid on, I sold, usually to record collector shops.

Record companies accept the risk and the loss to gain exposure and feedback from working club DJ's and radio stations.

This sounds to me like The Darkness seeking more publicity using the dirty tricks option. And this from a band whose singer sounds like he's got his nadgers caught in a vice and whose backing band sound like a poor imitation of AC/DC circa '77.

That Justin geezer is a prize pillock, I hope he falls flat on his face.

Well, despite my rhetoric, I did buy the first one and still like it and play it now and again.

I may very well purchase their latest audio offering.

However, Justin still needs a slap :D

as flopps said collectors may have been interested but i doubt it would have got that high if he hadn't bought it
