Win 3000

I am very much interested in using win 3000. Can someone
tell me if MS has made it public??????? If not when can
we buy it (Possibly $3000.00) from MS, sorry M$.
The point is M$ does not know many are now using
ABSOLUTELY free Linux now, wothout any cost. Regards,

We jumped 997 versions ahead?... Can't wait to get me a copy of this Windows
3000 software

actually, from what I've read (it may or may not be true)... the TCO of
"free" *nix boxes is actually pretty high. Considering that it comes with a
lack of availability for formal support, you can end up losing days of
service while trying to get something going, where it might be solved for a
$250 call to Microsoft if it's something you can't figure out on your own or
using tools available (newsgroups, web, MSKB, etc.).

Just keep in mind--you get what you pay for. Get a free OS, it'll be a free
OS ;)
