nice that you've included no installs in the list, but is there a way to
get files sizes included too? (esp. those of us who may need to run a
program or two from a floppy or small capacity USB drive) ?

Sure. The ACF list has 3678 apps ATM. If you send me a list of the file
size(s) for each of the programs I can probably fit that info in.

Not really a good idea IMO as file sizes change frequently for the apps
that are in active development. . .

Susan

what about indicating something like "<500K" or "<1BM" ?

excel format ok ?
i'm just gonna go by your list of NI's

Use the tab delimited file here as a starting point:

http://www.pricelesswarehome.org/ftp/acf_List.txt
(441 KB)

Just insert an extra column for the file sizes. If you use Excel to work
with the data copy/export it to a tab delimited text file when you're
finished. I'll incorporate your file size info into the current
database. (That will no doubt be a bit of a PITA due to additions and
revisions.)
