I keep the *master* copy of my recipes in a spreadsheet - I'd say you
definitely *don't* want to do it the way I do. ;)

I've only tried a couple of "recipe" apps - IMO if you want simple
you're probably better off with a general purpose app.

Treepad *if* plain text is okay. Keynote has rich text - it's more
complicated to learn but has more options. IMO either one works *very*
well for recipes (I export recipe files to them from my spreadsheet
recipe file).

If you want to keep photos with the recipes also look at
GoldenSectionNotes and DirtRider Library.

Believe it or not - DirtRider Library was somebody's choice for a recipe
app after a *long* search (I think it was Boomer). IIRC it has key words
and that was the deciding advantage for her. Search for that app in the
ACF archive and you'll find quite a bit of discussion about the pros and
cons of various choices for keeping recipes - that was some time back
though. . .

Another choice that might work for you is a card file app:

AZZ cardfile (v 1.6) seems to be well-liked (I haven't tried it.)

DirtRider Library links all go back to Simtel, that does not seem to
download.

Any other links that work? Thanks
