Groan. The Russians. It's always the bloody Russians. You know, I'm
really forming some quite negative opinions about Russians. Not content
with ruining their own country, they seem determined to spread their
filth to everyone else.

Stamping out this crap is quite tedious. The wiki that I use - Usemod -
fortunately has an IP blocking facility. Some time ago everything ending
in .ru was blocked. But like flies, they seem to be able to mutate to
adapt to whatever is flung at them.

Probably the only real way to combat it is to require some kind of
"Turing tested" (aka captchas) registration procedure - although that
kind of defeats the convenience of wikis.
