Hi. Stefan gave me an answer to a "missing nav bar on a shared border"
question on 12/21. I have checked the file name against the name in
Navigation view and they are the same ...index.htm...with the little house
icon showing in the folder list. I'm ready to publish except for this one
problem. Is there anything else you could think of short of starting over?
I've been worrying over this enough that lately to relax I've been beating
my head in rhythm against a brick wall.
For someone else who would give it a try...... My problem is I have a nav
bar on every page except the home page on the left shared border.
I am using FP 03. The FP help book I bought ("How to do Everything with
Front Page...David Plotkin) covered shared borders prior to DWT....so shared
borders it is. I have the appropriate SB boxes checked, and the borders
show up on all 11 pages...10 of the pages have nav bars, but not the home
page.
Many thanks for whatever help you can provide.... Stipo

Try this:
Go here: http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm and download FP Cleaner ( with Expression Web Designer and
SharePoint Designer support )
Download links are at the bottom of the page.
Run the functions that clear:
The Hidden Temporary files.
The Hidden Cache (*.web) files.

Then open the web and click Tools > Recalculate Hyperlinks

See if it helps.

Steve, I tried that to no apparent effect. I still have the nav bar in all
pages except "home". Any other ideas? I sure appreciate your help, by
the way. Thanks, Stipo
