Hi Siljaline,

I apologize for not replying to your post
But it did not appear in my
"Beano alter ego (multiple identity)" OE NG. (?) As to why it didn't appear
there, but does in another one is yet another mystery.

Anyway, I have scanned with every AV scanner under the sun, and nothing is
detected as being out of order. The "hardcore" thing is gone once and for
all, so goodbye to that nuisance.

Thanks for the clarification on the (space)/autorun detail of scanregw.exe;
that has provided me with a further bit of knowledge I was unhip to.

So yes, it would be fair to say that you have addressed all my questions and
concerns as best as can be expected- and perhaps even more. Since I am
replying now to your reply (and it is being done by relying upon my memory),
I hope I have addressed all of the things that you've addressed. Whew!
That's confusing! Thanks for your kindness and help, Siljaline.

Now I just must figure out why the post of yours (and one of beanos) does
not appear in beanos folder here. hmmmm. (?)
