We installed a new printer server.
HP Server with Windows XP 2003.
The old print server was renamed and the IP addressed changed.
The new print server was setup with the previous systems IP scheme.
We reinstalled all the printers and plotters.
All work fine except for a Tektronix Phaser 560
I am unable to ping this printer, but can ping it from the old printer
server and also still print to it from there.
On new print server I added this printer to the DNS and added it to hosts
file.
I am able to Http: through web browser from new print server and access
printer web interface. All settings on printer look correct.
I was able to get one test page to print after I zeroed out the Broadcast IP
address from the printer panel, but now get nothing. What in the World could
keep this from responding to ping?
Network card settings are set to auto, so it shouldn't be network card
speed, but I guess it could be. But then why would it actually print a test
page?
Thanks in advance.
