I'll give it until Tuesday as I'm not sure if Easter Monday has the post
office open or shut down. My postmistress (wild town Evansville) tells
me US mail can take 10 days or so.

Canada Post is not operating on Monday; they get monday off due to
Sunday, a holiday, is normally a day off for them. Tuesday is the
soonest Canadians will get mail. BTW, POKO, where in Canada are you? I
am in Winnipeg.

How's it going Katt? Been to your fine city several times as relatives
live there. Most famous is P. Liba who is Manitoba's Lt. Governor. (My
side of the family - not so famous.) Mother was born in Portage La
Praire, just down the road from you.
I'm at the top of The Great Lakes on Manitoulin Island, although born in
Toronto. Have lived in Ottawa, Hamilton, and Brantford. Never met
Gretzky, but met his dad - great guy!

The 'Peg has a different cold. But yes, our climate is much easier to
cope with. Fortunately, the lake effect serves Evansville well as the
eastern end of the island gets more precipitation. We also don't have to
put up with the annual Red River spilling over as 'Peg does.

Oh yeah. I spent 10 years there between 1970 and 1972. I've lived all
over Canada (my father was in the armed forces) and that place was the
worst. I couldn't, and still can't, stand the flat ground.

flat.
