just a little note: as i like seeing large images on the screen, and
savers must of course shrink them, i often use an old picsaver
slideshow to pick randomly among those i found, scanned or shot.
something like the photosaver in the bouffler site you link to, i
guess (i'll test that too, and btw i'm just trying these days to
write one myself as an exercise -- the picsaver i use doesnt show the
filenames, so sometimes i say, wow such a good image!, and have to
search for it among some 60-70k
.
so having the pics in folders or corresponding savers could let a
user a good choice.
