Pin a Favorite

Is it possible for me to Pin the first item in my Favorites which is
my Search?

I want it to remain at the top of the list for convenience.
Either I'm careless and it gets moved somewhere or even deleted or
there's a Sort by Name and it gets put in the S section.
I've named it 1.Search but even thats not helped me.

You can just drag it to the top and it will stay there. Any new favorites
you add go to the bottom by default.

Here's an alternative: You can have your Search URL included in Links and have
it always present on the Toolbar.

First, you'll have to have Links enabled on the Toolbar (View > Toolbars >
Links). If you need to reconfigure the Toolbars be sure to disable the lock
feature.

You can drag & drop any URL into Links.

I have my Links and Address bar sharing the same row. Only the first shortcut in
Links is visible (my banking logon). You can drag & drop the shortcuts within
Links to arrange in any sorted order.

After reconfiguring your Toolbars, enable the lock feature again (View >
Toolbars > Lock the Toolbars).
