I'm helping my wife create some presentations that contain
bar charts and pie charts. I've created the presentation
on my laptop and edited them on her laptop. My version of
PP is PowerPoint 2000 SR-1 (9.0.5519), her version is
PowerPoint 2002 (10,2623.2625).
Each presentation contains primarily text, but all contain
one pie chart. In 3 of 8 presentations, when we re-open
the presentation, the pie chart changes to a large
rectangle with a large red x (similar to a broken image
link symbol). When I try to re-create a pie chart in the
same presentation by inserting a new slide and then going
through the usual steps of creating a chart, I find that
I'm unable to see the text that I am typing in the cell on
the datasheet. Once I tab out of the cell, the text
appears normally.
Is this a known bug? What is the solution? Thanks for any
help at all!
