By blow up, do you mean increase the size of a picture of a pie chart?
If you simply stretch a chart within Excel, it maintains its circular
shape, subject the the screen resolution's ability to render it. If you
make a bitmap (gif) picture of a chart, and resize it, now the
resolution of the bitmap and of the screen are at odds, so it will
always look worse.
If you are exporting a chart image, for use in a web page, for instance,
make it exactly the size you want in Excel before exporting, so it is
shown actual size in the viewing application. If you are using it in
PowerPoint or Word, paste it as a picture (metafile), not as a bitmap,
so the individual drawing objects what comprise the chart can be
manipulated appropriately.
