First off - you never say what you want to do.

All you tell us is that you *emptied* your recycle bin with all your
pictures *in it* (... I assume - meaning you had deleted them once already)
and now you cannot find *them*? Notice that things with asterisks (stars)
on each side are assumptions made from your original post.

And now you want to know what to do?
What to do about what?

If your pictures were in your recycle bin, that means you had deleted them.

The recycle bin is a place where things deleted from your hard disk drive go
in case you delete them and want them back later. If you EMPTY the recycle
bin, you have decided you *did* not want them. You had your chance to
'dumpster dive' up until the moment you 'emptied the recycle bin' - at which
point you made the conscience decision that you would not need the stuff in
that bin any longer.

The system worked 'as designed'. You deleted, things went into the recycle
bin. Later, you emptied the recycle bin, finally trashing permanently the
files you had deleted earlier to cause them to be in the recycle bin in the
first place.

If you don't want to lose a file on the computer - there are two things you
should do... 1) Backups - copy them someplace safe - usually an external
device. 2) Don't delete them (and if you do, and they go into the recycle
bin, don't empty the recycle bin.)

Google for an 'undelete' or 'unerase' utilitiy. There are free ones out
there. In your case - if you do this often - I suggest 'Undelete' (purchase
and install it - it will give you FAR more options in the future when this
