Pictures when clicking on a link

This is weird. Just changed to Vista from XP. Every week I get an email
from my realtor in Northern California with new properties that have come on
the market. Each property has additional pictures you can click on to see
the interiors of the homes. Nothing happens when I click the link. This
worked fine when I was on XP. Any ideas on what to do? Many thanks.

Tools | Options | Read
Make sure "Read all messages in plain text" is not checked.

Tools | Options | Security
Un check the option "Block images and other external content in HTML
messages.
 
Did both, but still won't open the link. Do you think if I made internet
explorer my default browser, would this do the trick? I do not know how to
do this, however, as a tech person I hired is the one who added firefox and
made it the default. Thanks for your assistance!
