Hello.

I would like you to explaine me how can i do to make a picture's pre-load at
the same time of the site's loading, so that the two things will load at the
same time and at the end of the loading, it will present the site fully
loaded.

Thx.

I searching all the answers on all post... I dont found nothing! I need
help.. I think if the pictures load at same time that the page, its will
apear more professional.
Give me the URL of the post that have an answer or explain me...

Im using FrontPage 2003 SP1

Your post on the frontpage.addins forum. My answer was -

There are some things you need to understand about preloading.

1. It is of no value to preload images that are static on your page.
2. It is only of value to preload rollover images.
3. The preload function doesn't get called until the page has already
"loaded", i.e., all mentioned graphic elements have already been fetched
from the server (see #1 above).

I suspect what is happening is that you have a very heavy page, and that
images are still loading well into the page being (partially) rendered. In
this case, a preload would have no benefit to you - a 300K page will still
behave like a 300K page.

The solution is to trim your page's markup and its constituent graphic
content to a more reasonable number - the typical target is 40-50K total
weight (all markup, all externally linked files, and all graphics), which
allows for a 10 second download on a 56k dialup.

Thanks its a nice resolutions for my problem ;). I have a lot of pictures on
the Home page, but i think that all graphics are more or less on the 80kps of
size. But i will remake all web, and test with a 128kps connection.

Thanks again
